District Manager- San Jose, CA
SUMMARY:
The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the District Manager.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Monitors and ensures high standards of Customer Service and selling practices by enforcement of the “Tilly’s Six Steps to Customer Service” Program.
•Monitors Store sales performance, productivity, results and accountability.
•Analyzes sales and merchandise to identify business opportunities and concerns.
•Recruits, interviews, hires and retains high caliber Store personnel to ensure employee retention.
•Understands, supports and complies with all Company policies and procedures.
•Utilizes Company tools to provide continuous training to Store personnel ensuring awareness and skill development in Customer Service, Loss Prevention and Visual Merchandising.
•Utilizes Independent Development Plans and Performance Planning and Evaluations to provide feedback on Store Manager’s job performance.
•Understands, supports and complies with Federal, State and local employment practices and laws.
•Audits each Store for compliance with Company policies and procedures.
•Manages payroll hours and payroll dollars to achieve wage cost goals.
•Protects Company assets through enforcing Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
•Ensures Store execution of Visual Updates, promotional and visual merchandising directives.
•Monitors and ensures follow-through of Store maintenance, cleanliness and Store repairs.
•Communicates weekly District information to Regional Manager and RSC business partners regarding merchandise mix, inventory levels, best sellers, merchandise requests.
•Demonstrates professionalism, leadership and self-confidence.
•Represents District as a mentor, pro-active leader and problem solver.Fosters a work environment that inspires trust, respect, professionalism and teamwork to achieve goals.
