SUMMARY:The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the Packer. This position will not be limited to just those responsibilities described below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Count and pack garments/items for assigned stores. Cartons must be sealed properly.• Assure accurate quantities are packed for assigned stores. Question and resolve discrepancies (overages & shortages) as required.• Input the packing information into the RF units for inventory tracking. Assuring accuracy and completion.• Achieve and maintain minimum standards of performance and accuracy.• Identify all discrepancies and immediately report them to the team lead.• As a team member, provide back-up coverage as required.• Perform all other duties as assigned by the lead person, supervisor or manager.• Responsibilities will also include other warehouse duties as determined by the lead person, supervisor or manager. Duties may include, but are not limited to, processing, returns (RTV), back stock put away and related documentation processing.• Continually responsible for maintaining Tilly’s Housekeeping Procedures and practicing all safety procedures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:• Be familiar with warehouse environment and procedures• Ability to work in high pace/high volume environment• Detailed oriented• Operate warehouse & sensor equipment safely & efficiently• Assure that orders are filled accurately• Follow processes consistently• Perform proper lifting techniques as required • Assist team members as backup when required• Work independently• Works well under pressure• Good communication skills• Must be 18 years of age or older• Ability to work varied hours based on business needs
