SUMMARY:The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the Inventory Control Clerk. This position will not be limited to just those responsibilities described below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels by performing location audits, manual counts and cycle counts using RF equipment. Research and cycle count merchandise overages from the sorters. • Reconcile variances discovered during daily cycle counts.• Handle special requests or priorities accurately and in a timely manner.• Troubleshoot/research issues. • Check in, sort, stage and pack hang merchandise allocated to new stores that haven’t opened yet. Visually identify types of merchandise (defined by the Visuals department) and accurately stage by store until there is enough to fill a carton. Pack cartons physically and systemically according to type. • Process, receive and put away all store transfers to 650. Perform inspection of garments returned to the warehouse for defects/damages. Ensure items have sensors and tickets. Identify and report all shortages and/or damages to the Inventory Control Supervisor to ensure store compliance issues are communicated. Notify Loss Prevention if a high value security tote is not sealed or if high value merchandise is missing. • Move merchandise designated for RTV (Bounce) from the Processing lanes to the Returns department. Ensure the correct purchase orders are delivered and the carton counts are correct. Provide the RTV Clerk with the appropriate paperwork displaying the RTV stamp and buyer signature. Ensure units are systemically received into Bounce, if required.• Handle inventory movement within the warehouse. Consolidate same skus located in different locations to facilitate pulling merchandise for the stores.
