BEST ANSWER: yes you can but they make ones that are about the same price for BMX. One is the Subrosa street rail. It is rounded as opposed to flat and square and is longer. You can use this one for BMX also. I do.
Does it need to be bolted to the ground?

BEST ANSWER: No. We use it for skateboarding. If you bolt it down it can't be moved around or portable for on the road. my boys love it and say its excellent quality. They use it almost everyday
