Vans Breast Cancer Awareness Slip-On shoes. Early detection methods improve breast cancer survival rates, and Vans’ goal is to create awareness about a disease that affects everyone. Vans will donate a minimum of $200,000 of its proceeds from this collection to CoppaFeel!, a UK-based organization dedicated to educating young people on boob checking, the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and empowering them to speak up when any changes are noticed. Featuring custom embroidery, the Breast Cancer Awareness Slip-On also includes sturdy low profile slip-on canvas uppers, padded collars, elastic side accents, and signature rubber waffle outsoles. Will this benefit breast cancer research?
BEST ANSWER: So, NO it does not go to research.. And btw VANS is donating only 5% of wholesale prices to this organization which is half of retail pricing.. So in the US a $50 pair of shoes... vans makes $25 and $2 gets donated.
