BEST ANSWER: These doc's are in women's sizes. No need to size down, unless your accounting for future growth.. Only the unisex/men's need to be downsized.

I was wondering if I am a size nine in women, what size should I get?
BEST ANSWER: 9. I'm a size 8 and bought a size 8 and it fits really well, with just a bit of room in the front. These Docs are definitely true to size and take a while to break in so I would advise against getting a size up or down or your feet will blister like no other.
